Women's Soccer Players of the Week - (Oct. 2-8)
Belinda Anane tallied a Navarro single-match record six goals to land a weekly honor
Colorado Springs, Colo.- The latest NJCAA Women's Soccer Players of the Week were announced on Wednesday afternoon by the national office.
Belinda Anane of Navarro (TX) garnered DI Player of the Week after setting a school record with six goals. Butler's (KS) Elena Garcia tallied Division I Goalie of the Week, going 3-0-0 in net for the Grizzlies. Freshman Rachel Todd from Herkimer (NY) brought in DIII Goalie of the Week honors with an upset win over then-No. 1 Genesee and Jessica Dowse earned the Division III Player of the Week award for Richland (TX) who took down two top 10 teams.
