Hobbs, NM to host outdoor championships in 2019
Hutchinson, KS will host in 2020 followed by South Plains, TX in 2021
Colorado Springs, CO – New Mexico Junior College will serve as host for the 2019 NJCAA DI Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Hobbs, NM. Hutchinson, KS was awarded the 2020 bid and South Plains, TX will serve as host in 2021.
Competition in 2019 will take place at the Ross Black Track on the New Mexico campus. Athletic Director Deron Clark will serve as Tournament Director of the national championship which will be held May 16-18.
One of the dominant track programs in the country, Clark is excited to welcome the national event to campus. “The New Mexico Junior College family and the community of Hobbs, NM are excited and fully embrace the opportunity of hosting the 2019 NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Butler, KS is the set host for the upcoming 2018 championships May 17-19 at the BG Products Sports Complex in El Dorado, KS.
