Tyler awarded 2021 DI Men's Soccer championship
The most recent host in the fall of 2019, Tyler, TX has been awarded the 2021 DI Men's Soccer Championship.
Charlotte, NC - The NJCAA has awarded its host site for the 2021 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship.
Tyler, TX – the host of the most recent 2019 edition of the Division I tournament – will host the 12-team field November 15-20, 2021. Located about 100 miles southeast of Dallas, Tyler has a long tradition of hosting the tournament along with success in both men's and women's soccer.
Meridian (MS) won the first soccer tournament held in Tyler, TX in 2000. Since then the east Texas city of more than 100,000 people has hosted the event 11 times. The winning coach in 2000, Steve Clements, would make the move to Tyler two years later, building a national powerhouse resulting in a total of six titles with the Apaches – including the 2010 and 2016 championships hosted by Tyler.

We look forward to exposing teams, coaches and fans to all East Texas and Tyler Junior College has to offer while cheering on the amazing student-athletes that make up the NJCAA.”
The Pat Hartley Complex, where the championships will be staged, are among the finest in the NJCAA. With one artificial surface turf and one natural grass field parallel to one another, there is ample space to host a competition along with adequate practice and warm-up space.
