Minnesota State HB Rondarius Gregory named NJCAA DIII Football Offensive Player of the Year
Charlotte, NC - Minnesota State CTC running back Rondarius Gregory has been named the 2022 NJCAA Division III Football Offensive Player of the Year!
Gregory appeared in 10 games for the Spartans and proved to be one of the top backs in the country. The sophomore rushed for 1,106 yards and 14 touchdowns on 160 carries. Gregory led the nation in yards, yards per game (110.6), yards per rush (6.9), and touchdowns. The sophomore was named NJCAA Division III Football Offensive Player of the Week twice during the 2022 season.
Gregory's efforts helped propel the Spartans to the No. 1 DIII Football ranking for a portion of the season, before a loss in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) championship game where Gregory played as an emergency quarterback.
In a tough game on the road, Minnesota State faced MN North-Mesabi North in a week 8 conference showdown. Gregory erupted with an incredible performance with 26 carries for 220 yards and 4 touchdowns.
