NJCAA TV live on Amazon, Apple TV, Android and Roku

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The NJCAA - the nation’s premier governing body for two-year collegiate athletics - announced Thursday the release of NJCAA TV apps for Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Roku in a joint partnership with Blue Frame Technology. NJCAA TV (www.njcaatv.com) is the official digital video network of the NJCAA and provides exclusive coverage of the association’s national championships in addition to contributed content from member colleges.

The new NJCAA TV apps, which are now available as free downloads through the Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Fire TV Stick, the Play Store on Android TV, the App Store on Apple TV, and as a Streaming Channel on Roku, provide NJCAA fans quick and easy access to their favorite live and archived events produced by the NJCAA and any of its member colleges that are clients of Blue Frame Technology. The live-first app design immediately presents the timeliest content from across the entire network.  NJCAA championships and member college content are organized by channels within the app, and the user-configurable interface allows viewers to efficiently search through thousands of archived broadcasts. 

These NJCAA TV Over-the-Top (OTT) applications comes on the heels of the NJCAA TV’s 4th generation Apple TV release last fall.  NJCAA TV’s OTT device application presence now represents the most comprehensive offering for any national amateur sports association.

Since its inception in 2009, NJCAA TV has since carried over 1,900 championship tournament events and over 10,000 regular season contests.  Over 30 NJCAA member colleges regularly contribute content to the platform.
