NJCAA Announces New Partnership with Genesee Nutrition
Charlotte, NC – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has announced a new partnership with Genesee Nutrition as the Official Protein Bar of the NJCAA. Committed to delivering both exceptional taste and optimal benefits for NJCAA athletes, Genesee Nutrition has redefined elite nutrition for dedicated competitors. Each bar is packed with 20 grams of protein, made from natural and organic ingredients, and is non-GMO and gluten-free.
"As a former NJCAA athlete myself, I couldn't be more excited to partner with two-year college programs across the country," said Will Carr, founder of Genesee Nutrition. "Junior college athletics changed my life for the better and it continues to impact these young athletes positively today. I'm grateful to do what I can to make their college experience even better."
As part of this new partnership, Genesee Nutrition will fuel the 2025–26 NJCAA Championship experience by providing its high-protein bars to athletes, coaches, officials, and administrators at select national championship events. By making clean, performance-focused nutrition readily available, Genesee ensures that every competitor has access to the energy and recovery support needed when the stakes are highest.
Beyond national championships, Genesee Nutrition's Collegiate Partnership Program is designed to elevate student-athlete wellness throughout the regular season. With a commitment to clean and organic ingredients, and delivering 20 grams of protein per bar, Genesee invites NJCAA member colleges nationwide to join the program and equip their teams with a reliable, performance-driven fuel source—helping athletes reach their full potential both on the field and in the classroom.
NJCAA members partnering with Genesee include Central Community College - Columbus (Neb.), Independence Community College (Kan.), Northeastern Junior College (Colo.), Palm Beach State College (Fla.), and Santa Fe College (Fla.). Conference partnerships in the NJCAA include the ACCC, FCSAA and the KJCCC.
"The association is proud to partner with a company led by an NJCAA alumnus like Genesee Nutrition," said Dr. Christopher Parker, NJCAA President and CEO. "Genesee Nutrition will provide our student-athletes with premium nutrition products, fueling them to perform at a high-level both on and off the field."
