COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.

The Greyhounds defeated previously seventh-ranked and defending national champion Butler (Kan.) for the second time in two weeks with a 13-12 victory Sunday to win the Region 6 title for the first time in school history.

Navarro (Texas), the No. 1 team for the past two weeks, fell to No. 3 Blinn (Texas) 45-34 in the Southwest JC Football Conference Championship Game on Sunday. The win vaults Blinn to No. 2 in the poll.
