NJCAA Football Players of the Week (Week 3)
 September 11, 2013

Dodge City running back Tyreis Thomas, Coffeyville cornerback Jamarcus Howard and Nassau kicker Connor O’Sullivan have been named NJCAA Football Players of the Week for games Sept. 5-8. 





OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Tyreis Thomas – Dodge City
Running Back – Sophomore

Rushing for four touchdowns – including 92-yard scamper – Thomas carried the Conquistadors to a 41-35 win at Highland.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jamarcus Howard – Coffeyville
Cornerback – Freshman

Howard returned an interception 59 yards and a fumble 35 yards for touchdowns as the Ravens knocked off No. 7 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, 37-19.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Connor O’Sullivan – Nassau
Kicker – Freshman

O’Sullivan totaled 12 points and had two touchbacks Saturday in the Lions’ 48-7 win over Navy Prep.
