“Against Indiana Tech Amber [Redinger] and Mackenzie [White] had great games,” said Ancilla coach Lana Singleton. “Against Danville Mariah [Kinney] and Suzanne [Grimm] really shined.”

Day two saw Ancilla fall to Southwestern Illinois College 25-18, 25-15, 13-25, 25-16 and to NJCAA Honorable Mention Vincennes University 25-20, 26-24, 25-21. Singleton continued, “I can honestly say that during the Vincennes game, I saw our Lady Chargers play some of our best volleyball to date. Everyone played well and contributed. Standouts for that game were Hayley [Mavrick], who had 15 kills, and Mackenzie [White], who was a digging machine. I was proud of the girls’ efforts in the last game of a four day stretch of six away games from Chicago to Lansing and down to Vincennes. I know it was a taxing couple of days.”
