Glen Oaks Overwhelms Ancilla
February 25, 2013PLYMOUTH, IN – The Chargers men's basketball team lost a conference game Saturday to Glen Oaks Community College 93-55. The loss brings their record to 8-17 on the regular season and 2-13 in MCCAA West. Coach Butcher mentioned, "We have one more game left in the season and we will do our best to get a better result." Top performances were turned in by Rosey Green (South Bend, IN) 16 points and 4 assists while Sean Hoevener (Madison, IN) added 12 points for the Chargers. The Chargers close out MCCAA West play when they travel to Muskegon Community College Wednesday, February 27. Ancilla College enrolls 500 students in 17 degree programs ranging from accounting to nursing. It was founded by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ in 1937, and is located 2 miles south of US 30 on Union Road near Plymouth. |
