Chargers Edged Out by Grand Rapids

PLYMOUTH, IN – The Chargers men's basketball team lost a conference game to Grand Rapids Community College Saturday 78-72.  The loss brings their record to 8-15 on the regular season and 2-11 in MCCAA West.

Coach Butcher mentioned, "Unfortunately we took a step back today. We have three games left and need to finish strong."
Top performances were turned in by Jacob Frazier (Niles, MI) with 19 points and 11 rebounds.  Demetrius Adams (Lake Station, IN) added 20 points and 10 rebounds while Rosey Green (South Bend, IN) contributed 21 points for the Chargers.
The Chargers continue MCCAA West play when they travel to Kellogg Community College Wednesday, February 20.
Ancilla College enrolls 500 students in 17 degree programs ranging from accounting to nursing. It was founded by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ in 1937, and is located 2 miles south of US 30 on Union Road near Plymouth.
