TC3 Men's Basketball Tops Finger Lakes 72-60

CANADAIGUA, N.Y. – Trailing by 11 at the half, the Tompkins Cortland Community College needed a big rally to pull out a win Saturday at Finger Lakes Community College in a battle for first-place in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. And that’s exactly what they got, as the Panthers outscored the hosts 42-19 in the second twenty minutes to post a 69-57 victory. TC3 is now 6-1 in the MSAC and 14-4 overall. Finger Lakes drops to 5-2 in conference and 6-14 overall.

Tyseem Lyles (Health Professions H.S./Brooklyn) led the Panthers with 22 points Community College while pulling down six rebounds. Jaanai Beckford (Northstar Christian Academy/Yonkers) posted a double-double of 11 points and ten rebounds while also blocking three shots and dishing out three assists. Devin Redden (St. Mary’s H.S./Buffalo) added ten points for the winners.

TC3 hosts Jefferson Community College Wednesday.
