AIKEN TOO MUCH FOR SAINTS, DEFEAT SF 66-57

Aiken, SC - Aiken Technical College proved to be a tough matchup for an undersized Santa Fe team on Saturday afternoon as the Knights defeated SF 66-57.

Santa Fe (6-8) led by one at the half, but poor shooting and a run by Aiken sealed the Saints fate. SF was outscored 40-30 over the final 20 minutes and shot just 9-of-29 from the field.

"Aiken hurt us inside and we just never had an answer for their post players," said SF coach Chris Mowry.

Bobby Hunter did what he could, pouring in 30 points, including a 13-of-16 performance from the free throw line.

The Saints play their next game at home on Monday, December 17 at 5:00 PM against St. Petersburg College.
