TWIN FALLS, Idaho – The No. 11 Hutchinson Community College volleyball team will think of all the missed chances it had in two matches against some of the top teams in the nation on Friday in the CSI Classic.

The Lady Dragons had a late four-point first-set lead against No. 3 College of Southern Idaho, but the Golden Eagles rallied to take the first set and defeat the Lady Dragon in four sets 25-22, 22-25, 25-18,25-16.

Hutchinson then faced North Idaho College in a 2012 NJCAA National Tournament rematch. The Lady Dragons rallied to force a fifth set, but North Idaho prevailed in the fifth, defeating HCC 22-25, 25-22, 13-25, 25-17,16-14.

The Lady Dragons drop their third-straight match and fall to 4-4.

Hutchinson plays Snow College and No. 6 Salt Lake Community College on Saturday.

Against College of Southern Idaho, freshman middle Nicole Kinser had a season-high 13 kills and hit .480 to lead the Lady Dragons.

Sophomore Teresa Wade posted her second double-double of the season with

12 kills and 11 digs. Sophomore Dragana Micic also had 10 kills.Sophomore Samantha Lackey had 12 digs and freshman Rachel Griffitt had six digs.

Hutchinson had a 19-15 first-set lead on Southern Idaho andforced the Golden Eagles to call a time out. CSI rallied to take the set.

Against, North Idaho Wade had a season-high 14 kills and noattack errors to lead HCC. Wade had her second double-double of the day, added10 digs to her stat line.

Kinser finished with nine kills, while Micic had eight killsand freshman Hannah Doll saw her first actionof the year. She also had eightkills.

Lackey finished with a team-high 20 digs.
