Pensacola Falls Short In Second Half In Loss To Northwest Florida State

Pensacola State (14-6) lost to Northwest Florida State (17-1) by a score of 73-69 on Saturday night in Niceville, FL. The Pirates went in after the first half up by 9 points but struggled to score as well as keep Northwest Florida from scoring in the second half as they were outscored by 13. Louisville commit, Chris Jones led Northwest Florida with a game high 24 points. Sophomore Devin Wilson led the Pirates with 17 points while freshman Qiydar Davis also had a good game with 15 points of his own. The Pirates will look to get back to their winning ways when they travel to Marianna, FL to take on Chipola College at 7:30pm on Tuesday of this week.
