Ancilla Men Defeat Bethel JV

DONALDSON, IN – The Ancilla College men's basketball team kept rolling with a victory yesterday over Bethel JV 89-56 that put their season record at 2-0.

Coach Butcher mentioned, "We got off to a slow start but finished well. Our goal going in was to get win #2 and we accomplished our goal.  We have a big week ahead with three games so we have to stay focused and continue to get better each day."

Stand out performer Demetrius Adams (Lake Station, IN) had 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks.  Jacob Frazier (Nile, MI) had 18 points, and 8 rebounds, while Rosey Green (South Bend, IN) added 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.  Corey Burton (Edinburgh, IN) ended the night with 8 assists.

The Chargers will play three games next week against Grace Bible College, Goshen College, and Edison Community College.

Ancilla College enrolls 500 students in 17 degree programs ranging from accounting to nursing. It was founded by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ in 1937, and is located 2 miles south of US 30 on Union Road near Plymouth.
