Lady Flyers Lose to Brunswick Community College

The Lady Flyers winning streak came to a halt last night when they lost 3 straight to Brunswick Community College. The scores were 14-25, 20-25, and 10-25. Their overall record now is 3-3, and 1-1 in conference. The Lady Flyers did a good job blocking collecting 7 total blocks as a team, and 43 digs. The Lady Flyers will travel to Rockingham Community College next Wednesday September 23 at 6pm.

Lady Flyers Continue Winning Streak

SCC swept Central Carolina in three straight games on Thursday in Sanford, NC. Capturing thier first conference win making their record overall 3-2. In three games the Lady Flyers recorded a team high of 37 kills. Join the Lady Flyers Wednesday for Faculty/Staff night at 5pm as they take on Brunswick Community College.

Lady Flyers Beat Rockingham for Second Win of the Season

SCC swept Rockingham in three straight games on Wednesday in Heins Gym. SCC captures their first home win making their record now 2-2. The Lady Flyers had impressive serving and capturing 24 service aces. Sandhills travels to Sanford tonight to play Central Carolina Community College at 7pm.

Lady Flyers Beat Hiwassee for First Win of the Season

SCC swept Hiwassee in three straight games Tuesday in Lexington, NC as part of a tri-match with Davidson County Community College. In the process the Lady Flyers earned their first victory of the young season. In the last game of the tri-match SCC won the first game but DCCC came back to take the next three to win 3-1. Join the Lady Flyers Wednesday for Student Kickoff day with pizza, door prizes and more as they take on Rockingham Community College in a Region X match-up.

Lady Flyers Open 2009-10 Season to Packed Heins Gym

The SCC Lady Flyers opened the volleyball season Friday night to a packed house. Guilford Technical Community College sweep the match in three games. While the Lady Flyers dropped to 0-1 on the young season they had a strong showing against Division I member GTCC. Sandhills travels to Lexiington Tuesday for a tri-match against Hiwassee and conference rival Davidson. SCC returns home September 9 for student appreciation night. Volleyball and Basketball pep club shirts will be available for $15 (both shirts). Come cheer on you Lady Flyers...
